I hope i didnt trick you all into thinking i actually made a whole blazer! Unfortunately i wish i could but i dont even have a sewing machine in Malta. Nope this DIY is all about the cuffs or the rolled up bit of sleeve on a boyfriend blazer. I adore it when its a different color or pattern and when i started cutting up a sequin zara tee that i never wore this idea came to mind!
This jacket is quite boring by itself and as it went so well with the grey and sequin stripe fabric i thought i would make some silver glitter cuffs! :)
They were super easy to make!
What you need:
- Fabric of your choice
- Scissors
- Thread
- Needle (or sewing machine)
- Fabric glue (or once again sewing machine)
- Measure your blazer arms and cut out two strips of fabric a little wider than the circumference of the arm.
- Sew the fabric together so that you have two fabric sausages :P hehe
- Turn your blazer inside out and either sew or glue the fabric sausages with the pattern side up to the inside arm at the bottom.
- Turn your blazer right way again an roll your sleeves around.

You always have good ideas sweetie!
