I made a messy side fishtail braid for the first time a couple of days ago and since then i have had a lot of requests to do a how to :) I havent perfected it but i do prefer it more on the messy side as it looks more romantic and less going to school perfect.
1. Start with clean dry or slightly damp hair.
2. Divide your hair into two even sections.
3. Pull a thick strand of hair from the one section over itself and add it to the second section.
4. Do the same for the other side and keep repeating this until you reach the bottom. You can vary the tightness and the strand thickness if you want a more interesting look.
5. Tie at the bottom an if you want to add some pretty hair accessories to finish off the look.
Happy braiding!

My hair isn't very long but I will give it a go to see the outcome x
