Look of the day - Story about a girl

Today i have something a bit different for you all! I have been going crazy look at fashion editorials and they have really inspired me to be a little bit more creative with my photos. Hope you all like and enjoy it! :)

Another amazing piece of news i just have to tell you is that i was featured in Seventeen Magazine South Africa as their blog of the month. I have never been featured in a magazine before and its such an amazing feeling especially because i work really hard on my blog :)

Look of the day - Maxi

Soooo i am not really a person that likes long dresses. It doesnt come from the need to show off my legs i just feel short in them. I know i shouldnt as i am quite tall already but when i look in the mirror i feel short. Strange but thats just me! Anyway i felt like i had to try and embrace the maxi trend this year and i am really trying to get into it although i find myselfs rolling up the skirt the whole time! 

If anyone thinks i look awful go blame it on Mademoiselle Lala who told me to wear one and she would take all the blame :P (hehe sorry but you said i could!) I am also wearing the lovely barrym grey nail polish i won in her giveaway. Its so pretty and looks very sophisticated.

Sunday Snaps

Sunday was my mom, sister and nephews last day in Malta before they went back to South Africa and we decided to go have a nice relaxing Sunday lunch at our favorite sushi spot which is just 5 minutes walk from our apartment. We had such a lovely time and ate way to much! I added some photos of the food but i couldnt get everything as everyone just wanted to tuck in :)

DIY - Studded shorts

I have been wanting to do today's DIY for quite a while. I love denim studded shorts but i dont own a pair so i thought instead of buying some i can just make a pair as i have loads of old jeans laying around!

Look of the day - Goodbye

Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts but i really just wanted to spend the last days with my family without having to think of blogging! They left today and i am so very sad as we had such a wonderful time. I just wish they could have stayed a bit longer but i think it will always feel like that even if they stay for a month!

Look of the day - Snake Print

Yesterday we took a walk to the mall for some more shopping and had a stunning bbq on the rocks by the sea infront of our apartment. It was just a perfect night and i wish we could do it all the time!

I felt like doing a bit of a neutral outfit because of all the color i have been wearing but today i was back to my brights again! :)

Look of the day - Gozo

Yesterday we went to Gozo with the family. We visited Azure window, Calypso's cave and Ramla bay. We have been to these places so many times but its still fun to see it with other people. I wasnt wearing much as it was super hot and i got a very dark tan, oops! today we went shopping and i got lots of new goodies i cant wait to show you all! Hope you are all doing well and i cant wait to catch up and comment on blog posts! :)

Look of the day - Palazzo pants

Hi everyone! I am trying to update as much as i can but it so difficult when we are having such full days! :) Here are some photos of Mdina where we went yesterday. It was so pretty but very hot! At least my pants kept me nice and cool.

Beach time

I thought i would just put up a few photos of what i have been doing the last few days! Lots of swimming and sightseeing with my family! :) Its been so much fun and i am sure i have toned up a bit from all the swimming and walking!

Look of the day - Sunset

Hi everyone! Last night we went out for dinner at my favorite restaurant on the island and we snapped some pics on the way. Dont you love my new glasses?? I think they are amazing! We went beach hopping today so will have photos up of that soon. Hope you are all doing amazing!

Look of the day - Blue ice cream

Just a quick look nothing fancy of what i wore last night when we went for a bite to eat and to watch the lunar eclipse. I had smurf ice cream just to go with my top and it was actually soooo good! Lol :P I feel bad for not commenting on blogs but i will get back to you all when my family are not here anymore because for now i am having such a great time!

Color Explosion

I got a few new colorful pieces a while back. I am actually wearing a all nude outfit today (can you believe!) but i also have wet hair from swimming so no photos :P

Look of the day - Colors of the Med

Just a very quick look today! We went to go fetch my mom, my one sister and her little boy at the airport today and this is what i wore. Its called colors of the med (short for Mediterranean ) because off all the shades of blue in the outfit :) I am so happy right now but dead tired so off to bed with me! :)

Look of the day - Liquorice Allsorts

This is my first attempt at styling my pink blazer! I went for a 3 color look and i really like how it came out! Very striking but fun at the same time. i also made another video so that you can see it while moving. I also included a very random photo of me eating an apple, just to show you how healthy i am! :P

I am now complete! I have been lusting over a bright pink blazer for such a long time and now its mine at last!

Look of the day - Orange Sherbet

 

Today was absolutely boiling hot! Summer has defintely arrived and now i just wish the wind can stop! :) Always something to complain about right? :P I am so sick once again of my hair, can you believe! It just grows out to fast so i am thinking of doing a bit of an ombre and making it light brown at the top just so that the roots dont annoy me.

Look of the day - Walk in the park

I love sitting on grass and its really something that Malta is lacking in. We went for a stroll down to the park and sat down on the nice green grass and although we got so itchy it was worth it! :)

Today's post has so many photos mostly because it is so much fun to twirl around in a gorgeous skirt! It is a lovely hot day and it just felt right to wear this floaty dreamy skirt. I kind of changed it into a dress just because i wanted to pair it up with my floral bralet.

Look of the day - Chic casual

Hi everyone! Hope all is well where ever you might be in the world! :) Look at my gorgeous yellow pumps, arent they just to sweet and perfect for hot weather! I am apparently the girl who wears pumps all the time but you know what? I will take that title with pride! I love heels dont get me wrong but prancing around in a sky high pair during the day in Malta is just not my idea of fun. Pot-holes and leering men would put anyone off it right? Maybe if i am back in Cape Town i will as there are a lot more places where heels would be suitable and the pavements, well they are a lot more stable! So i leave you all with this thought, would you rather see me wearing cute pumps or sporting bloody knees and bandaged arms? :)

Look of the day - Jelly pong pong

 Hope everyone is having a fab day so far! Today i wanted to show off this lovely pink lipgloss from Jelly Pong Pong. I am totaly in love with their cute packaging and i currently have a wishlist as long as my arm from their site! The lipgloss is called Irish Cream Pavlova and it smells like heaven. I am being very serious when i say i was tempted to eat some just because it smelled so good! It isnt sticky either which i love.
