Look of the day - Flying Horses

Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing great! I have bees super busy trying to get everything in order before we move back to South Africa. I know its still two months but i am pretty sure its going to be going by very fast and i dont really feel like doing everything last minute :) 

This is actually something I wore on Saturday morning. I am super excited to show today's outfit thought because of one element in it that is sooooo not me but I totaly love! :P

Look of the day - Back to school

Its back to school time for a lot of people but I haven't been in school for quite some time so my look is rather named after the colors I am wearing. Our school uniform was orange, white and navy and although I used to have the color combo back in the day it seems to have gotten a new life for me almost 10 years later!

Look of the day - From the past

Happy Monday everyone! Yesterday we had a chilled out Sunday lunch at this cute little cafe close to our apartment and afterwards we decided to go walking in some roads that we have never been in. This might sound a little bit strange but in Malta there are so many little hidden roads that you hardly ever need to go to all of them. We found some strange places and although I wasnt really dressed for outfit posts we had to take some cute pics anyway especially with some old cars! 

I especially loved the peace sign door that we found. So cool! I wonder who used to live there?

I have been looking for inspiration for office spaces and when i saw these amazing photos in The Coveteur of the Who What Wear offices i fell in love immediatly. Its chic but fun with lots of color and black and white elements.

I cant wait to do up my office when we move back to SA. It is going to be so much fun! :)

How to - Gorgeous Curls

I love curling my hair and I dont seem to do it often enough (especially in Summer). Curls are really easy to achieve when you get the hang of it and  its a great way to spice up a plain outfit or to just look a bit different. 

Look of the day - Feathered

You all probably saw this feather earring in my previous post. I dont wear earrings all that often so this is quite out there for me but it just made me smile the whole day (especially when my boyfriend told me I was only wearing one earring) My sister actually bought these at New look but when we got home she saw that one of the earrings only had one feather and she left them here. 

This was just a quick and simple look thrown together in a few minutes before going to lunch and once again has me wearing a skirt as a dress (I love those dont I! :P ) Also note how my shoes are falling apart. These Primark beauties have served me well but it is time for them to see the inside of a black bag. Sad sad times indeed...

Look of the day - Stripes Ahoy

When we went for lunch at the fishing village Marsaxlokk on Saturday I wanted to wear something bright and fun and (kind of...) fishing inspired! Navy, white, red and yellow make for a fresh look that is so essential when the weather is hot!

I also love how this look felt classy but still casual and fun at the same time!

I have so many things to be happy about but sometimes we forget and sweat the small (or big) things. I thought i would do a post about the 5 things i am happy about at the moment and it will be so much fun if you all joined in (spread the positivity!)

Look of the day - Mellow Yellow

Last winter i didnt feel like colored jeans suited me all that well although i had a purple one I didnt wear it that much, then summer came and all of a sudden I couldnt wait to get my hands on a few bright pairs! Yellow isnt usually a color I gravitate towards but this soft yummy yellow instantly got my attention and I am glad it did!

I used to not like lipstick at all and now I just cant seem to stop wearing it so I thought I would share a few of my favorites with all of you! :)

Look of the day - Pink Lady

I love the mix of black and pink, i always think it will looks stylish but edgy. On Friday I matched my new scalloped top with pink tailored shorts and heels for a sort of business chic look. I am defintely trying out styles to wear to my new office in Cape Town. 

I also realised on Friday that homemade Mojitos can be just as good or actually in my opinion even better (and less expensive) than restaurant ones. Our view is also much better than most places that serve these so its a big win for me! :P I cant wait to get a fully stocked bar cart back in SA!

Look of the day - Snake Charmer + Giveaway!

Today's look is super bright and I called it snake charmer because I am wearing a snake bangle, snake necklace and snakeskin bag!  I dont think it comes off as to much though. I couldnt resist posing in the street where they are putting up decorations for the festival this weekend!

Things I am loving

Doesn't this photo just scream Autumn? The gold and brown hues and chunky knits remind me off afternoons when the sun is setting and the leaves are crunching under your feet. I do love summer but you cant deny there is something very magical about Autumn.

As soon as the shop windows start taking down the summer clothes and the last of the summer sales end i cant help but feel excited to buy goodies for the new season coming our way. Here are some Autumn themes items i am loving at the moment. (Even though the weather is still hanging aroung the 31 degree celsius mark/88 degree fahrenheit)

Look of the day - Mustard

I was tempted to call this look mustard and tomato sauce but then i could have just called it hot dog :P I actually quite like this bright red and yellow look, it definitely makes a neutral outfit pop without adding to much.

Look of the day - Jewel Colors

I am not usually fond of the color green but recently I have been inspired and it does give a hint of freshness to any outfit. We went for lunch in Spinola bay and I paired my lovely green pleated midi with a white tank and some gold and brown accessories for an effortless look.

Look of the day - Serene

On Sunday we went to Birgu for lunch and it was just our luck that the super yacht Serene was docked there. It is the tenth biggest luxury motor yacht in the world and it is such a beauty!

It was also very hot so i kept my clothes nice and light and added my new pretty blue wedges for the perfect classy sailor girl look.

New in - Orange & Camel

This week I bought myself an orange Zara jacket like my pink one and i just love how fun and unusual it is. I hardly ever wear orange but I think its a great transition from coral in summer to orange in autumn. I also got this pair of camel shoes from my sister and they are from peacocks. They have a nice low heel and can be worn with almost anything.

I am going to try to not spend anything for the rest of the month as I think my closet is at bursting point! :P

Look of the day - Marina

On Friday we went to the Marina for dinner and I decided to wear my new boohoo dress and i love it so much. I decided to go for a very classic look with a black and off white combo which is perfect for a classy setting like the Marina. My boyfriend thought the dress looked very Marilyn Monroe and it does sometimes feel great to look a bit more grown up and glamorous.

Sunset Shadows #2

I did a post with some of these sunset shots recently and a while back we did some more so I thought I would share it with you guys. We went to the beach today and we are having a BBQ later so I am quite tired but i cant wait to share my outfit from dinner last night with all of you! :)

Look of the day - A bit of gold

Hi everyone! Today was super hot and windy which is a recipe for disaster when it comes to my hair so i just scrunched it up in a bun on my head! We took a walk to the shops and the rest of the day was spent inside trying to escape the heat. 

New in - Zara, Bershka & Boohoo

The last two days i got some new goodies from Zara, Bershka and boohoo.com that i love!

I actually wanted to buy some flat sandals from Zara as they have lovely ones in jewel tones but they didnt have in my size so i decided it was not meant to be and bought some glitzy pumps instead! They are soooooo pretty :)

Sorry for the lack of posts, its been super busy on this side! :) I got some new boohoo.com goodies in the post and i am absolutely loving this blue skirt. Its such a pretty color and great for hot days.

I find it so difficult to shop the new autumn winter ranges when it is still so hot in Malta but i dont want to miss out on anything i might like and then regret it later (we all know how it goes!) So i already have my eye on a few goodies from Zara.

Hi everyone! Today was extremely hot over here and not the best ever weather to take photos in :P I did however pop into Zara and buy another pair of pink jeans, this time a light pink. Everytime i go to buy black ones and i never seem to get any!

Look of the day - Leopard Kimono

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a fab weekend. Its really hot here but at least we got to cool off in the sea today :)

Yesterday i wore my new leopard print kimono that my mom made for me. I love it and it just adds some interest to an otherwise plain outfit. We took the kids to the park on our way to dinner so i thought i would shoot some outfit pics there! :)

New In - From South Africa

Yesterday my sister brought me some cute goodies from South Africa that i thought i would share with you. They are from her and from my mom :) Some really cute Zoom leopard print and red pumps that i cant wait to wear, cute frilly shorts, a leopard print kimono that my mom made for me (i am so lucky! :) and a stunning fitted jacket that my mom bought that reminds me of something Kim Kardashion would wear. 

I cant wait to style all these into stunning outfits! :)

Look of the day - Palm Trees

Just a quick outfit post before I go pass out in bed :) I had quite a busy day as we had family arriving so i am super tired but i did manage to snap some shots at the airport. Tomorrow it is time to relax and go swim with the little ones, they are so excited to go to the beach.

Shoes, beautiful shoes!

I have been having a major love affair with shoes recently, especially high shoes as i have so many flat ones. Seeing that we are moving back home i can start doing heels again, something i found almost impossible to do in Malta (the roads and pavements are awful) 

You all know how much i have been loving cinemagraphs and when i saw this one on Le blog de betty i just had to do my own glittery shoe one! So pretty :)

Here are a few of my latest pairs although i am still waiting for a pink pair and a leopard print one to arrive! The lovely new Zara a/w 2011 ones are part of my amazing present from my boyfriend, he has the best taste ever (i have never even seen these shoes) and i always knows what i like :)

Hi everyone! Something a little bit different for you today as i was feeling creative and i didnt get a chance to take outside photos.I love the combination of pink and black and i feel it can look fun and classic at the same time. 

I am getting ready for my family to arrive tomorrow and my sister's little girl brought her barbie's with so we can do outfit of the day with them. so cute!! Maybe i will even share a few of her "looks" with all of you! :)

Look of the day - Pink & Nude

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a fab day! I am sad that my birthday is over but i have to jump straight into being busy again getting ready for family that are coming to visit.  Today is hot as usual and a very loose top helped me stay a little bit cool at least :)

I hope you will all still be such great followers when i move home to Cape Town, even though the seasons will be switched it doesnt matter to much as Cape Town winter is very mild, especially compared to the winters we have had in Malta.

I must be the luckiest girl in the world! I had an amazing birthday thanks to my boyfriend who loves spoiling me and always comes up with the cutest surprises! I woke up with him singing happy birthday and loads of presents and then went into the lounge that was filled with hello kitty balloons! So sweet :) Then he made me breakfast and we had a stunning day which ended in going to dinenr at my favorite restaurant on the island.

Can you all guess what my favorite present is that i got?? I just want to thank him so much for my ultra special weekend. I couldnt ask for anyone better :)
