Nails {Pretty Pastels}
I adore bright nails but there is something so sweet and girly about pastels, that I just cant help but love them. Today I decided to do some big loose romantic curls and pastel nails with little flowers and hearts.
Look of the day - Keep Calm
Keep calm and carry on. That is exactly what I need to do at the moment. I am definitely stressing all the small details of our move and the fact that we got a huge wooden crate that cant fit in our front door delivered today doesn't help much :P
By Tuesday I need to decide what I want in my suitcase and what goes in the crate as well as how I am going to pack everything. I am indeed one big stress ball...
At least I wore my happy color today and it definitely made me feel better :)
Look of the day - Fall Inspired
Today feel like the first real "cold" day we have had since Spring. Its not like brrrrr cold but there are dark clouds in the sky and the sea is rough and crashing against the rocks in front of our apartment where we usually tan in warm weather. It has been threatening rain for a while now but as of yet nothing here by us.
In other news, we cancelled our cable so no TV for a while, we are also getting our big box this week to start packing everything we want shipped and my mom is picking up the keys to our new place on Friday. I must say its getting really close now till we fly and i am happy and excited but also very very nervous! :)
Interiors {Touches of Pink, Black & White}
I absolutely adore pops of pink contrasting against black and white. It makes for bright fun interiors (and outfits!) I have been pinning on Pinterest (my new favorite site) like a crazy person since we decided to move and it is just overflowing with cute ideas and DIY's that I just have to try once we get back.

Cake Pops {Hello Kitty & Angry Bird}
My boyfriends mom left me some goodies to play with that she used on the amazing cake she made for me and i couldnt resist making some cake pops (they have cake on the inside) this morning! I always see them on pinterest and they just look so extremely cute! I had a bit of difficulty with the fondant and our very humid weather but these are the first ones i have ever made so I am pretty sure when i am back in Cape Town I will be able to perfect them!
I made the Hello Kitty one as "me" and my boyfriend got an Angry birds one :)
Look of the day - Metallic
Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you are all having a fab day :) We went out for an early lunch before and i decided to wear my new Naughty Monkey shoes (follow them on twitter and facebook!). I thought the shoes and metallic pants were a great way to perk up a casual outfit and i just loved the look of the different gold and silver tones together.
At the moment it looks like its threatening to rain so i am going to make some lamb shank and watch movies for the rest of the day :) Bliss!
Last days of Summer
We are trying to make the most of the last days of Summer in Malta and yesterday we spent a lovely day at Little Armier. The water is still warm and there was a very slight breeze and everything just felt perfect :)
Look of the day - Leather Love
Yesterday I posted about my new leather shorts and obviously I couldnt wait to wear them! I think they might have looked brown for some of you but they are definitely black. I paired them with some coral for a trip to Gozo so it wouldn't look to "hard" and a bit more feminine and my style.
Sorry that I wear sunglasses in so many of my photos but my eyes are really sensitive because i wear contacts so mostly I don't even remember that I have them on. I will try and take a few (hopefully non squinting ones) from now on!
Look of the day - Shiny Things
Today is a public holiday here in Malta so i spent the day sightseeing in Gozo with my boyfriend and his family. This might be the last time we go over there before we leave for South Africa so it was actually quite sad in a way!
The wind has been blowing like crazy and i really hope it calms down so we can at least have another dip in the sea before Autumn really hits :P

New in - Leather shorts
I bought a few goodies from boohoo.com recently. I dont really need Autumn clothes but I couldn't resist buying some items that can be worn in other seasons but with a darker theme. One of these items is a pair of leather shorts as I have been looking to get a pair for ages but was scared of it looking a bit to hardcore for my style. These are perfect however because they are not tight or very short and I can totally see myself dressing them up or down!
Superficial CAKE
Last night i got the most amazing surprise! My boyfriends mom bakes and decorates cakes and yesterday it was her husbands birthday so she was in the busy in the kitchen and no one was allowed in because it was a surprise for him (or so i thought!) When it came to unveiling the cake at the restaurant we went to celebrate his birthday last night it turned out the cake was for me and i was so overwhelmed i couldnt help crying (so no photos of that :P)
It was the sweetest thing and the cake is so amazing with mini superficial girl and photographer (it even says canon on my boyfriend's mini camera and the t shirt he is wearing looks like one he has!) I am also wearing my leopard shoes and blue blazer. SOOOOO amazing. Everything on the cake is edible and made out of sugar paste as well :)

Look of the day - Pretty Colors
Happy Monday everyone! We have family over at the moment (last guests before we move back home) so I have been quite busy. We did manage to snap a few pics today before the weather turned from really nice to first rain and then a whole lot of wind!
I am really stressing still about all the little details of the move although I know it will go fast and hopefully smoothly! :)
Vanity {Apartment ideas}
With the move so close now I have been looking at ideas for interiors more and more! One thing i will definitely be needing in the new apartment is a vanity as I wont have my lovely makeup room anymore. Something that will fit in and not overwhelm the bedroom as well as be aesthetically pleasing and easy to organize. My mom already has a white mirror for it so I just need to think about the rest an how it will fit into the bedroom :)

New in - Leopard Blazer
I am so happy with my new leopard print blazer, I bought it on ebay so I bought a size a little bit to big but I can just have it taken in so its fine by me. I can see myself wearing this so much! :)
Look of the day - Skittles
Sometimes when you feel down the best thing to do is to wear extremely bright colors. Like all the colors of the rainbow maybe? I might have gotten a few stares wearing this especially against the mostly sand colored landscape here but I felt much happier and almost thought I needed some colored confetti to throw on people. Hehe :)

Look of the day - Turquoise Pop
I haven't been able to wear my stone colored jeggings from Bershka much since its just always to hot and humid but paired with a sheer shirt they are a bit easier to wear. They fit sooo perfectly and I wish I had seen them sooner so I could have gotten more colors. It seem jeggings always fit so much better than jeans.

If you watch the TV program How I met your mother, you will understand the title of this post. I am definitely wearing a kind of a summer suit :) I found this gold top in one of my drawers the other day. I bought it years ago and I have totally forgotten about it so it was quite a happy find!
Look of the day - Mixing it up
I have been waiting for rain the whole day (actually if you saw on twitter from last night) and it has not come, i dont think it will either. Silly weather person! :P I am craving some cool weather as everything just feels like its sticking to me, my office chair included :( Thats why its great to sometimes have some kind of breeze while shooting photos, well except for when i am wearing a skirt which is very prone to blowing up! I probably flashed a few people in the street while taking these photos but oh well!
Included are some PG shots hehe :) After my mom mentioned it i really wished i had put a touch of red in my outfit with a scarf belt or shoes! :(
Vintage Sunglasses
I received a pair of vintage style sunglasses in the post today and I love them! I love the nude color of the frames and the interesting winged sides, the only thing I am upset about it I ordered gold and received silver (boo I dont like silver!)
I also probably wont stop talking about moving back home until we get there so please bear with me *beyond excited person right here!* View photo of where back home is above, again lol!

Happy Monday everyone! Another busy week ahead of me and only 7 weeks till we leave! I have mostly been working and thinking about how to decorate our new place seeing that for the first time in three years i can actually start buying things without thinking if they can go in my luggage or not :) Happy days.

Morning everyone! If you didnt see yesterday on my Facebook page, it is now 100% official that we are moving back (although we did buy our tickets a while ago :P) Yesterday we got an apartment Yay! You can check out the area we will be living here. This is where i grew up, where I first met my boyfriend and a place I have missed everyday since moving overseas. I also cant wait to share stunning new locations for my outfit posts with all of you!! :)

Think Bright
Although some of you are already in Autumn mode we sometimes forget that some of the world is only going into Spring now. I will be having almost back to back Summers this year as we are moving back to South Africa on the first of November. I am definitely not complaining especially because now I can carry on wearing amazingly bright nails!Look of the day - Doors
On Sunday we went for a little mission to go take photos of doors (this might seem weird but there are a lot of interesting and colorful doors in malta!) that we want to turn into a coffee table book when we get back home. Today I was in a pink mood again and specifically in a my best blush pink blazer EVER mood! You can beat this color as it just goes so well with everything. Other than that i have been listening to Move like jagger the whole day and it inspired me to search for my pink H&M 70s style sunnies.
I just took the last of my banana nut muffins out of the oven (YUM YUM) and now i am going to settle down with some wine! :) Hope you are all having a fab day! xx

I found the cutest shorts at Zara over the weekend! They are so comfy and interesting and I think although it might not be my usual style I can really do a lot with them. I am trying to buy Autumn pieces that i will still be able to wear in the Cape Town summer at the moment.

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is having a fab weekend so far. I can defintely see that September and Autumn is well and truly here for us now. It is still very hot and humid but now the rain is coming for the first time since Spring this week and I dont feel ready for it at all. Outfit posts in hot humid rainy weather are not my favorite at all :P
